Compare Hostinger with the best web hosting services
The right web host is the key to a website’s success, and we want to help you make the right decision. So, we did some of our searches to determine if Hostinger is as good as people say. We have researched, analyzed, and analyzed various web hosting services and narrowed down our list.
What have we found? We found Hostinger to be so good that we put them at the top of our list of favorite web hosting services.
Why Hostinger is # 1 on our list?
Because it provides the best service for most people, which means that it works with a lot of people looking to build a website. Moreover, it is also the most expensive option. Hosting plans start at just $ 1.39 per month. Almost no one has heard of this, and you might want to take advantage of it.
What we love most about Hostinger’s low cost is that it doesn’t mean your services will be cheap. The platform is a solid competitor to others on our list, which are much more expensive.
While Hostinger is our favorite web host, this is just one of the many hosting options that might suit your specific needs. Whether you have a small project, a large company, a tight budget, or a real need for speed, our list has something for you. Hostinger: Pros and Cons
If we only lived in a world with only pros and cons, everything would be much better. However, this is not the case. To make the right choice, it is vital to know as much good and evil as possible. We’re here to help you with that by talking about the pros and cons of Hostinger so you can make a decision.
Loading Fast: It’s no secret that your site’s load time is significant. If a visitor comes to your site and has to wait for something to load, they won’t. Instead, they’ll close the page and go to another place. We’ve all done this before, so understand that most people have to. Many people don’t want to wait more than two seconds for a website to load.
This is why we love that Hostinger offers fast hosting speeds. The average page load time is 345 milliseconds. There are times when it takes longer to load, sometimes quicker, but you can count on an average, and it is faster than many other web hosting providers. Hostinger has servers in the US, Asia, and the UK, helping reduce overall download times.
Free Domain: You need a domain along with your hosting, and while you can buy a domain and hosting from different companies, it’s nice to do everything in one place. It’s even better when you can get a part for free. This is an option for those opting for Hostinger Premium and Business hosting plans.
Free Website Builder: A free website builder is a great option offered by Hostinger. While it doesn’t match up with some of the other website builders on the market, as mentioned above, it’s a good idea to keep everything simple and in one place. If that sounds tempting to you, you’ll love the free website builder that comes with any of Hostinger’s plans.
The builder offers many different templates to choose from, allowing you to customize your site just the way you want it.
Simple interface: The more modern and more straightforward the site interface, the more we like it. This is why Hostinger is one of the best. The interface is different from what you see on other hosting providers using cPanel, but there are large icons in the control panel to make it easier for you to find what you are looking for.
It’s a bit of a learning curve for those used to using cPanel, but the ease of use makes the transition much more accessible.
Affordable: What started as free web hosting still offers the best pricing options on the market. Hostinger is one of the most affordable services, with prices starting at just $ 1.39 per month.
Now, keep in mind that this low price is only available for the single plan when you sign up for 48 months of hosting. If you choose to implement the Single Shared plan and pay monthly, you are looking at $ 9.49 per month, which is about the same (if not more) than other providers.
Knowing that if you’re looking for a long-term commitment to your site, Hostinger is the cheapest option.
Money-Back Guarantee: Unhappy with your purchase on Hostinger? No problem. You have 30 days to try and get your money back if your experience doesn’t meet your expectations. However, don’t forget that ransom fees, domain renewals, and privacy protections are the only things that aren’t part of the 30-day money-back guarantee, so keep that in mind.
Otherwise, hosting certificates, domain transfers, and SSL certificates are refundable within 30 days of purchase.
Reliable Customer Service: Since something like a web host leaves room for error, it’s essential to know that the provider of your choice is the one with good customer service to help you resolve any issues. Hostinger provides this. While they don’t have phone support (more on that below), they have a 24/7 live chat option, and they offer support in several different languages, which isn’t the case with many web hosting providers.
Hostinger’s chat platform becomes available after logging into your account, and agents will help you solve your problems, including technical ones.
If online chat isn’t proper for you, Hostinger also has tutorials and articles that can help you sort out or fix any issues you have with your website.
Unreliable uptime: While Hostinger prides itself on download speed, they can’t say the same about uptime. And unfortunately, uptime is one of (if not) the essential parts of a hosting web service.
Hostinger’s uptime was measured at 99.74%, which is not bad, but it comes with almost 23 hours of downtime. This is a risk you must decide if you are willing to take it. Any time your site is down can cost you money. While some hosting services offer money for downtime, Hostinger doesn’t.
No cPanel: This may be fine for some, but it is impractical to have anything other than cPanel to support your hosting for most people. This is mainly because cPanel is the most widely used and accepted type of control panel, which will make your life much easier if you decide to switch to another provider. However, as we mentioned above, Hostinger’s panel works well and has an excellent interface that makes it very easy to use. It will not be like the others.
One plan only has one email address: If you have multiple people who need an email address with your website’s domain (for example, email@example.com), Hostinger might not be the right fit for you. Well, this might not be the Single Hostinger plan. The aptly named Single program only offers one email address, but others are available at an additional cost.
No phone support: Sometimes, you need a natural person to talk on the phone to get help with an issue. Unfortunately, Hostinger does not offer this option. The only way to contact support is via live chat, which is fine, but it is not the same as a phone call to help you solve potentially unpleasant things.
Hostinger pricing and features
As with most web-hosting providers, Hostinger offers you a range of different packages to choose from. Each offers unique items that suit specific needs.
Hostinger doesn’t have a free plan, but the single goal is inexpensive enough to feel almost free. It’s a fantastic place to start.
Hostinger’s most straightforward plan is part of their shared web hosting offerings, which means your website is on a server with other websites. This is great for those who don’t have the money for expensive web hosting as the server cost is split among many others. However, the bad thing is that the site speed can be slowed down because many other people are using the same server.
However, if you are just getting started with a website, one plan gives you everything you need to get started.
The one-stop plan starts at $1.39 per month with a 48-month commitment, and that price goes up to $9.49 per month if you sign up for a monthly pledge.
This plan gets you one website, 30GB SSD storage, 100GB bandwidth, 10GB hard storage, free SSL certificate, one email account, and more.
Hostinger’s next tier, Premium, offers everything Single does, plus some extra bonuses, including free domain registration (first year only), unlimited bandwidth, up to 100 websites, and 100GB of SSD storage, up to 100 email accounts. Mail and much more.
Pricing starts at $ 2.59 a month with a 48-month commitment, to $ 10.29 a month with a monthly pledge.
If you are looking to upgrade your plan, Hostinger Business may be the right option for you. With this plan, you get everything that comes with the Premium plan, plus daily backups, 4x computing power, 200GB SSD storage, and more.
Business plan pricing starts at $ 3.99 per month for 48 months, up to $ 15.99 per month with a monthly commitment.
If you’re considering cloud hosting versus traditional shared hosting, take a look at Hostinger’s offerings. Not sure what cloud hosting is? I covered you. Cloud hosting is different in that instead of hosting your website on a single server, and it is hosted in the cloud, which allows for more flexibility and ease of scalability.
Cloud hosting plans start at $ 9.99 per month for 48 months. This is a great place to start. Hostinger recommends the Professional Cloud Plan, which starts at $ 18.99 per month for 48 months if you’re looking for something else. And if you still need more, perhaps you need a global plan, and it will cost you $ 69.99 per month for 48 months.
The significant price hike from Pro to Global is due to several features, including 4x the launch plan speed, 16GB RAM, 8 CPU cores, and more.
If you are looking to draw attention to your company’s website, VPS hosting might be for you. VPS stands for Virtual Private Server, which means you have your server and not a shared server with other users.
Hostinger offers six different VPS hosting plans starting at $ 3.95 per month for 48 months. This price point gives you 3GB of RAM, 60GB of storage, and 3TB bandwidth. The plans offer slightly more features than the previous ones and move on to the VPS 6 plan, which includes 8GB of RAM, 160GB of storage, and 8TB of bandwidth. It will cost you $ 38.99 per month for 48 months.
Hostinger offers a unique hosting service that not many of its competitors offer: Minecraft hosting for gamers. This hosting starts at $ 8.95 per month for 48 months and offers plans up to $ 29.95 per month for 48 months.
With this service, you can install your game mods and much more.
Comparison of the best web hosting services
While Hostinger ranks high on our list of the best web hosting services, there are other terrific options out there that have proven themselves as well.

Hostinger is one of the most versatile hosting providers out there and has options no matter how big or small your website is and no matter what kind of website you want to build. While the uptime speed is a bit slow and not as stable as we would like, the site loads quickly, and other features seem to outweigh some disadvantages. Just be prepared for possible site crashes.
Overall, we highly recommend this hosting service to keep your site up and running and expanding in the process. Hostinger is excellent for new to website building and has solid support and help along the way.
All the plans, discount coupon, and a free training program is also included.Let’s talk about the overview when you login in Hostinger .
There is no Cpanel, they provide with Hpanel .hPanel is their custom interface. It is almost like Cpanel, you can see the same features here Last year, I was not happy with its interface, but this year the have made improvements.
I have tested 3 websites I took Cloud hosting from hostinger Shared hosting, which is on Asia server Shared hosting on USA server .
Shared hosting is on Premium Account .The Shared hosting (Asia server) was on startup package.
So I will review on the basis of these 3 hostings experience. If I compare it from last year, I have seen improvements and some things have gone below, So here is the Server Response Time In USA, Server Response Time is A+ Every country has a good performance except Singapore Bangalore has 200ms Google recommends 200ms.
If I go to Singapore server, it is a shared server and this is the cloud server .So you can see in Bangalore and Singapore the response is good if I talk about London and USA, the Server Response Time increases.
So Server Response Time is Decent and not the best So if I talk about the speed, it is good My 3 websites: KP Test Hosting 1, KP Test Hosting 2, KP Test Hosting 3.
I have taken these 3 domain names and my website is hosted on them .So the results I have got in the speed test.
The shared hosting in Singapore has taken time In Bangalore, 1.2s time is taken, which is fast and good.
In cloud servers, the speed is 1.1s The server is the USA, is taking 800ms to access a website. So I have got good speed, I have no complaints If I talk about average speed If I talk about average first visit speed Servers in the USA are 3.3s, the average second visit is of 1s.
The shared server in Singapore is giving a speed of 3.2s and in Cloud servers, it was of 3s.
So I am getting an average speed of 3s which is good and I am getting good speed on Second Visit which is under 1s due to Cache Plugin(W3 Total Cache).
If I talk about Uptime, it is very good .This is my website which is hosted on Hostinger .I have hosted 4 of my websites here .
So the Uptime I have got since December is good Downtime is of 3min, 2min, 5min And the last 30 days uptime is of 99.988% which is very good.
If I talk about load test, I have done a load test on all my 3 servers. So I sent 50 virtual users to my website that whether they pass in the load test or not Or if they refresh altogether, do they face any problem?
I will start with the Singapore Shared Hosting Servers ,So I sent 50 virtual users and my users started to increase and they put up 7,500 requests and among them, only 1 request failed .
So this was a good thing Second, if I talk about response timing, so we usually need a straight line.
So a straight line means a stable response .The response time is doing many variations .But I don’t have any problem because it is not increasing that much The response timing here was 560ms and then it increased to 1s.
So it didn’t jump from 560ms to 3s as it happens in many hostings, So there is not much difference So if I see below there is a performance issue.
This performance issue means, that when it is loading, my request response time is increasing Since it is shared hosting, so its not a major issue it is not failing any requests, so this is important.
I run my shared hostings located in USA servers. I have seen better load test results .I sent 10k request and only 1 request failed Request .
Response Time has increased later. It has not increased that much Average Response Time is 33.32ms and I haven’t seen any performance issues yet So one thing is clear that USA server is better in performance.
It doesn’t mean that India and Singapore servers aren’t good enough. The servers of the USA are better and efficiently tuned When I run this in the cloud, it was exactly according to my expectations.
I have taken Singapore Cloud Hosting. So here you can see a straight blue line, which means there are no variations .
I have sent 12k requests and none of them have failed. I had 50 users who were continuously refreshing and I didn’t face any issue Talking about Cache Plugin, you get Cache Manager, so use it .
You also get Plugin along with it, which is W3 Total Cache So combining all 3 gives better results Talking about the data centers:
They are situated in UK, USA, Brazil, Netherlands, Singapore, Indonesia, and Lithuania(Europe) Talking about the domain name, you get a one-year free domain name on premium and business hosting packages.
You also get a temporary domain name for 14 days. Talking about Backups, you get automatic backups .
You can also take on-demand backups Backups are stored off servers, which is a good thing .
The procedure to restore backups is a bit difficult, there is no one-click restore option, but you can get help from the training program Talking about Ease of use, you won’t see any Cpanel.
You will have hPanel, which is very easy to use. You get 24×7 Live Chat Support .There is no phone number available.
Technical Support is decent Live Chat Icon is easy to find Whenever you log in, you can see that button in the right-hand corner .
The waiting period is 20-60mins which can go upto 80mins .Last year it was very fast Whenever I did a query .I use to get a quick response, but now it has become slower, maybe due to new customers .
Hopefully, they improve this in future If I talk about inode count. I can see up to 6lakh Inode Count .In Cloud Hosting there is Inode count of up to 20 lakh.
It is very good Inode count means the total files you can keep on the server. If I talk about its pricing, it starts from ₹ 45 per month and it goes up to ₹189 per month .
And you have an option for cloud hosting, which starts from ₹409 and goes up to ₹2500 per month.
The third type of hosting is the WordPress Hosting .You will have these 3 options in the WordPress Hosting .
So in actual, you get the WordPress installed in it ,So I won’t recommend this hosting, So instead of WordPress Premium Hosting, take the Cloud Hosting, where you will get the same resources.
The best value for money plans are: Business web hosting (for Shared Hosting) at ₹ 189 per month for 4 years.
In cloud hosting the first plan is of ₹409 per month .These are good plans where you are getting daily backups and good resources.
If I talk about the discount, so firstly you have to go to my link that I have given here .
So you will go and see the Shared Hosting and Cloud Hosting .We will select add to cart and the month from the options .
You are Talking about the purchase options, you have PayPal, UPI, Debit Card, Bitcoin, Credit Card, and Bank Transfer .
The Refund Policy is of 30 days . There is no CDN, SSL is only for one website, which I think is a drawback If you will use Cloudflare you can overcome its drawback.
There is only free migration for 1 website Talking about software, they have used lightspeed web servers, PHP 7,4, data integration is there.
But in their shared hosting for NodeJS, Python, Perl there is no support .You will have to take VPS Plans for this. But for CMS like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal you will find support .
You can also create unlimited Cron jobs. Talking about the site builder, it is okayish .So before I jump onto the pros and cons if you have liked the detailed review.
Its price is at an affordable point, Its speed, uptime and easy to use hPanel Good support and good load handling.
You also see their latest version Talking about its cons Slow Live Chat, only one SSL, Temporary Domain is for 14 days, no one-click restore option for backups, you have to manually restore it .
According to me, it is the best affordable hosting option. If you have to start or you are a beginner and you want an affordable hosting or cloud hosting .
So Hostinger is a good option I have hosted my 5 websites in different plans. So according to me, you should check out this plan.
